Dr. Beh is actively involved in numerous professional societies, including the Tzu Chi International Medical Association, International Society of Hypertension, Academy of Family Physicians Malaysia, Malaysian Society of Hypertension, and the Malaysian Society for World Action on Salt, Sugar and Health, where she has held roles such as committee member, deputy president, and council member. Her leadership extends to being a project leader for the Asia Pacific Society of Hypertension- National University of Hospital Hypertension Networking (APSH-NUH-HYPERNET) and a committee member for the International Society of Hypertension. She has made significant contributions as a speaker, organizer, and chairperson for various health-related events and workshops, including World Kidney Day, May Measurement Month, vaccination communication workshops, and health outreach programs. Dr. Beh has also participated in media interviews to promote preventive medicine and health screenings, furthering public education on hypertension and chronic diseases. Her research achievements are notable, with multiple awards at national and international conferences. She has presented and published research on hypertension, chronic disease management, and public health, earning distinctions such as the Youth Investigator Award, travel grants, and best poster awards. Dr. Beh has served as a co-author and first author on several peer-reviewed publications, including studies in BMJ Open, Journal of Clinical Hypertension, Archives of Osteoporosis, and Hypertension Research Journal. In her role as a consultant and supervisor, Dr. Beh has contributed to research projects on artificial intelligence in respiratory disease diagnosis, post-COVID-19 symptoms, diabetes management, depression among medical officers, and hypertension practices in primary care. She has also been involved in academic contributions, such as writing book chapters and developing telemedicine training modules. Dr. Beh's dedication to excellence has been recognized with awards such as the Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (APC) in 2023 and the International Society of Hypertension Spotlight award. She has secured grants as a co-investigator and primary investigator for projects funded by international and national organizations, focusing on respiratory health, teleconsultation, medication adherence, and chronic disease management. Her skills include public speaking, event planning, community engagement, and research analysis.
